The services included under this project are to: a) express an independent professional opinion on the project financial statements, and to ensure that the funds utilized to the project’s activities have been used for their intended purposes in accordance with the project documents; b) to review the adequacy of the internal control system and supporting documentation for the transactions in preparation and presentation of the financial statements in relation to the requirements specified in the terms of reference (ToRs); and c) to recommend effective mechanisms to improve efficiency and effectiveness of project financial management where applicable.
