The services to be provided under the assignment is to support the NEPAD Infrastructure Project Preparation Facility (NEPAD-IPPF) in mainstreaming climate resilience, sustainability, and green growth principles across the infrastructure project preparation lifecycle. The Consultant will provide strategic, technical, and operational guidance to ensure that NEPAD-IPPF projects are climate resilient, aligned with climate strategies and policies, and eligible for climate finance from global climate sources and funds. The assignment also aims to strengthen internal systems, tools, and partner engagement mechanisms that foster climate-resilient and low-carbon regional infrastructure development. The NEPAD-IPPF is a multi-donor Special Fund managed by the AfDB’s Infrastructure Partnerships Division (PICU.3), under the Infrastructure and Urban Development Department (PICU), within the Vice Presidency Private Sector, Infrastructure and Industrialization (PIVP).
