The assignment consists of conducting a comprehensive completion evaluation of the YouthAdapt project supported by the Africa Climate Change Fund (ACCF). The consultant will assess the project’s performance against its intended objectives, including support to women-led climate adaptation enterprises, integration of gender-responsive analysis into eight country assessments and market studies, and contributions to the design of a gender-responsive green credit facility and AAAP gender policy framework. The evaluation will review project design, implementation efficiency, effectiveness of results achieved, sustainability of outcomes, and lessons learned. The consultant will also validate outputs delivered, assess progress toward expected outcomes, identify gaps and challenges, and propose recommendations to strengthen future ACCF programming and ensure long-term impact and scalability.
