The objective of this consultancy is to support the African Development Bank’s SANKOFA Programme by leading the review, refinement, standardization, and Bank-wide implementation of the Business Classification Scheme (BCS), File Plans, and enterprise metadata framework.
The consultant will strengthen metadata-driven governance to support consistent document management, security classification, retention, disclosure and secure disposition across the Bank’s digital ecosystem. This will include the use of AI-enabled tools to accelerate classification, metadata tagging, anomaly detection, compliance monitoring and workflow automation, while ensuring that both AI-assisted actions and human decisions on documents and records are traceable, auditable and aligned with applicable Bank policies and international standards.
