Under the overall supervision of the AFAWA Management, the Project Coordinator will:

• Coordinate the overall planning, implementation, and delivery of the AFAWA GrowFi Program across all participating countries and institutions;
• Develop and maintain annual workplans, implementation schedules, budgets, and activity trackers to ensure timely execution of project activities;
• Support the operationalization and day-to-day management and supervision of the Project Implementation Unit (PIU) comprising four (4) consultants ;
• Serve as the primary coordination focal point between the African Development Bank, Business Development Services (BDS) providers, participating Partner Financial Institutions (PFIs), consultants, and other stakeholders;
• Ensure effective coordination and alignment across the technical assistance components of the GrowFi Program;
• Monitor implementation progress against approved workplans, budgets, performance indicators, and contractual deliverables within the required timelines;
• Track project milestones and proactively identify implementation challenges, bottlenecks, risks or potential delays, proposing effective solutions and mitigation measures where required;
• Coordinate, with the support of the members, the preparation, review, and consolidation of annual work plans, budgets, procurement plans, and implementation reports;
• Facilitate regular project coordination meetings, technical working sessions, and implementation review meetings with the BDS, the PIU as well as internal and external stakeholders;
• Support the selection, onboarding, and engagement of eligible participating PFIs and ensure their active participation throughout project implementation;
• Liaise with targeted PFIs to ensure commitment letters, reporting requirements, workplans, and technical assistance activities are effectively implemented;
• Coordinate with regional offices, investment teams, and other Bank departments to ensure alignment between GrowFi technical assistance activities and related AFAWA investment operations;
• Lead the preparation and reporting of the GrowFi supervision missions when required
• Lead the quality review of the BDS deliverables, work plan
