The Consultant’s scope of work will include the following:

Design, implement, and operationalize models and data pipelines that leverage unstructured data to implement the Baker?Bloom?Davis (2016) uncertainty index methodology for multiple countries and thematic sub?indices.
Support the development and deployment of machine learning models for macroeconomic nowcasting and forecasting in the context of African countries.
Develop related interactive and visually appealing dashboards to enhance the dissemination of model results and support insightful decision-making.
Create comprehensive documentation around data products developed and facilitate knowledge transfer to enhance the capabilities of in-house analysts.
