The International Consultant will support the IGAD Secretariat in developing the second Regional Strategy for the Development of Statistics (RSDS II) for 2026–2030. Under AfDB and IGAD guidance, and in collaboration with a PARIS21 consultant, the consultant will help design a result based, implementable strategy by assessing regional statistical systems, identifying priority areas for harmonization and coordination, supporting stakeholder consultations, and preparing RSDS II, including a costed action plan and a monitoring and evaluation framework.
